Llanwenogs on Countryfile

In September 2007, the UK reported the first ever suspected case of Bluetongue disease in a Highland cow on a rare breeds farm near Ipswich. The Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm, owned by Richard Storer, was shown in a programme on the disease on BBC Countryfile on 1st February 2015. His long established flock of Llanwenogs featured prominently .

The feature starts 8mins into the programme and followed Pirbright scientists evaluating the on-going threat and new strains of this disease.
