Spring Visit - Pessall Flock
Unfortunately this visit has been cancelled
Saturday May 10th 2014 – Spring Flock Visit by kind invitation of Maggie Wilson. Come and join us for what promises to be an interesting day out in the Derbyshire countryside visiting the Pessall flock. As well as her Llanwenogs Maggie also has a small flock of South Down sheep and has recently acquired an area of woodland.
If you are new to the breed this is a great opportunity to meet other Llanwenog breeders and if you are an old hand this is a great time to catch up with friends.
11 for 11.30 a.m. Arrive. Maggie will talk a bit about her flock before a buffet lunch provided by the local pub, cost £12 per head.
After lunch a tour to include the woodland and her plans for it as well as the sheep.
It is anticipated we will finish by 3.30 p.m.
Please observe bio-security measures.
Please let the Support Group secretary know if you plan to come by 3rd May so lunch can be ordered. Many thanks.
From M42 leave at junction 11 and take the A444 towards Burton-on-Trent. At the Cadley Hall roundabout take the left hand exit for Caldwell. Continue under the railway bridge and then take the 2nd turning on the left for Caldwell. After ¼ mile turn left down a farm track and arrive at destination first left in the wood.
