AGM WEEKEND 4-6TH NOVEMBER 2011
The AGM weekend is fast approaching, and we look forward to meeting our English guests on friday the 4th November for a meal and a chat at the Castle Green in Lampeter from 7 p.m. onwards. This has always been an informal occasion and a chance to catch up with friends old and new before the official AGM on the Saturday.
Saturday begins with a visit to the Glwydwern household, where you can always be assured of a warm welcome from Elfyn and Sharon Morgans and family. Set in a what can only be described a very picturesque part of Ceredigion, with breathtaking scenery and quality stock on show, this is sure to be an enjoyable experience.
Lunch will be available at the Cefnhafod Public House in Gorsgoch, only a few minutes away, which is a regular meeting place for many a Llanwenog breeder all year round. Remember to let the Secretary know if you would like to book lunch so that we have an idea of numbers beforehand.
The AGM this year will be held at TyGlyn, which is approximately halfway between Lampeter and Aberaeron. A popular choice for many functions, including weddings, this promises to provide a comfortable and homely location as the Llanwenog members try out pastures new for this year's meeting.
On Sunday morning, we will head down the coast road to Cwm March, Penparc, Cardigan. This will again give us the opportunity to appreciate the stunning scenery and landscape along Cardigan Bay and the chance to meet Mr and Mrs Alun Evans and his flock. Another warm Welsh welcome awaits you and we look forward to meeting members, both old and new on this weekend. I am sure we can make it a weekend to remember!
